Elbow dysplasia part 1– definition and aetiology*
Elbow dysplasia is a common cause of forelimb lameness in dogs. Thorough understanding of the condition(s) is imperative to providing optimal advice regarding management options. This article is the first of a three part series discussing elbow dysplasia. The first article discusses its aetiologies and provides the context for wider discussion of diagnosis, treatment and prognosis in parts two and three.
