Elbow dysplasia part 1– definition and aetiology
Elbow dysplasia is a common cause of forelimb lameness in dogs. Thorough understanding of the condition(s) is imperative to providing optimal advice regarding management options. This article is the first of a three part series discussing elbow dysplasia. The first article discusses the aetiologies of elbow dysplasia and provides the context for wider discussion of diagnosis, treatment and prognosis in parts two and three.
