Overview

Hyperthyroidism – the clinical syndrome resulting from excessive circulating levels of thyroid hormones – is believed to be the most common endocrinopathy in cats, with diabetes mellitus coming a close second. In spite of this, it is still a condition that can be extremely challenging both to diagnose and treat. This article will highlight some of the common challenges and uncertainties, and provide solutions for consideration.

This is a PDF of an article published in VetCPD Journal. For the most current CPD we highly recommend our range of 70 Online Courses – see below for details. Please note that these articles do NOT have exams associated with them.
