Sam is an engaging tutor, obviously brimming with enthusiasm with the topics she presents on, but happy to help with whatever clinical dilemmas pop up during the duration of the course. She has a very good understanding of what information we need as clinicians and emphasises this in her material, and is able to cater this to general practice where we might not have all the tools and finances available to handle cases. The course material is concise, easy to follow and very relevant to everyday practice!

The structure of the course - with easily accessible one hour long webinars and clear course notes makes it very management amongst working life. Feline Medicine Update – Part 1: This five module course will update you on the current evidence based management of various feline conditions, with a practical slant and plenty of tips to take back to practice. Covering the dyspnoeic cat, pancreatitis, idiopathic cystitis and FIP as well as management of complex hyperthyroid cats.
Feline Medicine Update Part 1 and 2 are standalone courses and can be completed in any order.
This course is designed as a refresher CPD course and is composed of a series of modules, with each module containing a recorded video webinar, notes to download and keep, plus clinical cases to deepen your understanding. The webinars are not live and can be viewed whenever works best for you.
Tutored courses run with a tutor for three weeks (the advertised dates), plus you then get continued access for a further 11 months (so 12 months in total). You can do our courses at your own pace and at times that suit you. Nothing has to be done at set times, so the courses are perfect for a world-wide audience.
Tutored courses are supplemented by a discussion forum where you can ask the tutor questions and debate topics relevant to your daily practice – this forum operates for the three weeks of the advertised course dates. Total course access is 12 months. Courses are completed with an MCQ exam (giving you 8 hours of CPD) which can be taken at any time during the 12 months the course is running.
