Hip and elbow dysplasia in dogs

Hip and elbow dysplasia are common causes of lameness in dogs. Client understanding of the aetiology and prognosis for these conditions are important for decision-making regarding management options. This course will cover aetiology and diagnosis, in addition to surgical and conservative management options. Current attempts to reduce the frequency of hip and elbow dysplasia in the canine population will be discussed.
