£20.00 + VAT

Veterinary Dental Radiology: what’s normal in dogs and cats?

Veterinary dental radiography is recognised as being mandatory for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning for veterinary dental patients. The equipment required is not cost prohibitive. Furthermore, the skills required to produce diagnostic dental radiographs are rapidly mastered. In order to make an accurate diagnosis of lesions detected on dental radiographs though, a thorough understanding of normal oral and dental radiographic anatomy is a pre-requisite. In addition, knowledge of normal anatomical variations is required. This article will guide the reader through a systematic method of analysing veterinary dental radiographs, with a subsequent article describing commonly found pathological changes.
