Shelly Jefferies

With over 25 years’ experience as a vet nurse, Shelly has a passion for wound care and rehabilitation, especially in first opinion practice as referral treatments aren’t an option for everyone. Shelly was in the first cohort of The Delving Deeper into Wounds certificate and shortly after completion she joined the Bandaging Angels team, providing education to other colleagues in their practices, speaking at conferences and teaching at college, all things wound care and bandaging. Alongside this Shelly is Head Nurse at a busy first opinion mixed animal practice. Shelly is passionate about educating the next generation of nurses and sharing experiences and she runs a successful social media channel, sharing hints, tips and educational tit-bits.
